This is a personal note from me to you. The question that seems to come up more than any other is, “Why have you decided to help others in their trading?” This is a very good question and one that deserves a proper response.

When I first started trading I was still a teenager, and obviously since I was a teenager I knew everything there was to know about everything. Yeah, right! What I found out as time went on how much I don’t know compared to what I now know.

So why exactly am I helping other traders? The answer to this question goes back to my search for a trading mentor that would have been willing to take me under his wing. The only thing that I found out here in “Trader Land” was a lot of people hawking a bunch of stuff (vendors), and most of this information was worth just about enough to start a fire with it, at least this way I could stay warm.

Over the years, I have read a lot of trading books both good and bad. I have sat with some of the best trading minds alive today. I have even watched some traders make huge amounts of money in the markets, and I have seen these same traders give it all back in one trading day. But the one thing I never found was that “trading mentor” to take me under his wing, and teach me how to trade successfully.

My experience has come from what I like to call, SOHK. This means the School Of Hard Knocks. The answer to this question: “Why am I helping other traders?” is a simple one. I want to be the trading mentor I searched for, but never found. My ultimate goal as a trader is to shorten your learning curve.

Why do I do it? Zig Ziglar said it best: “If you help enough people get what they want in life, then you can have everything in life you want.”

GoToMeeting has voice capability so you will hear Tiger call out the trade, and more importantly this service also has video so you will actually see what market and where he is looking to get into the trade.

Now let us make this very clear, we are not scalp traders. Our goal in trading is to look for a good place to enter the market with the intent of trying to stay in the trade for the day exiting the position before the close of the day session. On average, the Tiger Trading Room is designed to produce no more than 10 to 20 trades a week.

If you are looking for a trading room that grinds it out daily, where the only person that gets paid at the end of the day is the broker, then this is not the trading room for you.

Who is David ‘Tiger’ Knight?

David ‘Tiger’ Knight is the CEO of Knight Capital Management, LLC. In his 25 years of trading experience David has faced just about every pitfall a trader can make when trading your own account. This has allowed him to develop the strategies he will share with you as a subscriber to the Tiger Trading Room.

His initial foray into trading begin at the age of 22 when he was hired as a trader for a major Mutual Fund Company. This experience began the foundation for his knowledge of how the “smart money” moves the markets from the inside. David’s core belief is that you do not want to get in front of the “market movers”, but determine where and when they are in the market and then hitch a profitable ride.

David started Knight Capital Management, LLC., in November of 2007 after becoming an independent trader in October 1997. He has reached a point where success is now defined by giving back to others.
